Founded in the year 1994, Idea Cellular Limited, commonly known as simply Idea, is a brand owned by Aditya Birla Group, and happens to be one of the leading cellular networks in India. It has its headquarters located in Mumbai, in the state of Maharashtra. It is a part of the Pan India sphere, and provides 2G, 3G, as well as 4G mobile network services. Currently, Idea is the third largest mobile network in India, after Airtel, as well as Vodafone India.
