Founded in 1984 by Liu Chuanzhiand formerly known as Legend, Lenovo is a popular Chinese multinational technology company, which has two headquarters, one in Beijing, China, and the other in North Carolina, United States of America. Coming to Lenovo mobile phones, Lenovo has so far produced smartphones which are powered by Android OS from Google, and had relentlessly said that it would also produce smartphones powered by Windows if ever there was a demand of it in the market.
Lenovo successively planned to acquire Samsung’s position as the number one mobile brand in Mainland China, and for the same, it went on to spend $793.5 million to build a plant capable of producing around 40 million phones every year. In the year 2014, at Mobile World Congress, it was officially announced by Microsoft that Lenovo had become its official hardware partner for the Windows phone platform.
Some of the most popular Lenovo phones include Lenovo K3 Note, Lenovo Smart Cast, etc. On the other hand, by 2015, Lenovo had an acquisition over Motorola Mobility, hence with that rebranding, it went on to have popular smartphones like the Moto G, as well as Moto X.
