The third generation of Maruti Suzuki Dzire is all set to launch on the 16th of May 2017, and dealers of Maruti Suzuki has officially started accepting bookings for the same at a nominal token amount of only Rs. 11,000. The car will be sold via all standard Maruti outlets, and the privilege that customers will get currently is that they can convert this booking with the token amount for the outgoing Dzire model, only with the wait period for delivery being a little longer for that.
The brand new Dzire was unveiled quite recently and has also been voted as the best subcompact sedan currently available in the Indian market. The car boasts of a modified design with new and impressive proportions that are vast, new features as well as style.
The new generation model is 20 mm more wide than the current model and has also shed a good 105 kgs, giving it the subcompact sedan tag, while it has a 50 mm wider knee room, making the cabin space more expanded, bringing more comfort for drivers and passengers inside the car.

The upcoming sedan also consists of dual front airbags and the ABS standard in all of its variants. The variants that shall be available for the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire are four—namely, L, V, Z, as well as Z+ and there will be two engine options, first of which is a 1.2 liter K-series petrol variant and the other one is a 1.3 liter DDiS diesel variant. Both the engines will be geared by a 5-speed manual gearbox, and can be paired to automated manual transmission.
Since this upcoming model offers the best of best features, one can expect its price to be increased by 20,000 Rs. on existing base models of the sedan, while 50,000 Rs. can be expected to be added to the top variants of the existing model.
